Ric

Ric

Ric, well Ric just kind of showed up one day and started doing things. It made life a little easier so no one really complained. We’re kind of just stuck with him at this point. Loads of people really like Ric but not one of them could give you a convincing reason as to why. It’s just one of those things that just is. Sometimes he can be nice but mostly he’s very mean; like when you fancy someone in primary school –  If he is being excessively mean it’s only because he loves you.

The Highlander £11.15

Scotland’s largest whisky region boasts a dizzying array of styles, from rich and  textured to fragrantly floral, as befits an ever-changing landscape of coastline, moor and mountain. Even without the famed Speyside enclave, you’ll find some of whisky’s most famous names here.

The Speysider £10.35

Broadly speaking, Speyside whiskies can be classified as falling into one of two camps. At one end of the spectrum there are the light, grassy, ‘lunchtime whiskies’ such as Glenlivet; at the other end lie the rich, sweet, sherried qualities of        Glenrothes and Macallan.

The Islander £9.95

There are nearly 800 islands scattered off Scotland’s crenellated coastline, of which only a few are inhabited – and fewer still have a distillery. Excluding the whisky hotspot of Islay, the islands of  Arran, Mull, Jura, Skye, Lewis and Orkney are home to an eclectic mix of styles, from light citrus to full-on peat smoke.

The International £11.80

It’s not just Scotland distilling the best malt whiskies! Japan often out-manoeuvre the veterans on the award front these days and Wales have a couple of their own. These are the best (affordable) examples.

Corina

Corina

Corina just turned up one day… A ray of Romanian sunshine. Simply the best animal artist to ever come out of Targu Jiu. Hot shot DJ, she always plays what the crowd wants. Her cheeseboards are second to none (although this is highly disputed by Ian and Ric)

Its almost like she was raised by wolves yet trained by an international ring of super spys/Bartenders.
